The first of the 18 pylons destined for Monaco project “Anse Du Portier” was completed: a massive concrete structure of 56 meters long, 50 meters wide and 27 meters high and weighing hundreds of tons. The project, defined as the most ambitious and expensive one undertaken in recent years in Monaco, is beginning to take shape, with the reclamation of an area that will become an integral part of the residential area of Monaco.
The birth of the new neighborhood “Anse De Portier” , i.e. the completion of the project is currently scheduled for 2026. It will arise between the port area (port Hercules) and the Larvotto beaches, next to the Grimaldi Forum. The mega-project, in addition to 60.000 sqm. of living space for luxury homes (houses and villas overlooking the sea) provides 3000 sq.m. of shops and public buildings, too, an extension of the Grimaldi Forum of about 3,500 sq.m., public parking and a marina. There is also a park of one hectare, with lots of greenery and tropical plants and a Marina, closed to automobile traffic and open only to pedestrians.
